This is my cover of Paul McCartneys Jenny Wren his sequel in music to Blackbird. He uses a Duduk which is an Armenian wood instrument. I dont have that so I used my Saxophone on my Keyboard.
This is from Pauls Chaos and Creation album. This and English tea are two of my favs. Inspired by Charles Dickens character Jenny Wren and to the wren bird a fav of Pauls. This is my D35 and Taylor 814 mixed together left and right two tracks each
[Verse 1]
Like so many girls
Jenny Wren could sing
But a broken heart
Took her song away
[Verse 2]
Like the other girls
Jenny Wren took wing
She could see the world
And its foolish ways
[Chorus]
How we spend our days
Casting love aside
Losing sight of life
Day by day
[Verse 3]
She saw poverty
Breaking up a home
Wounded warriors
Took her song away
[Duduk Solo]
[Verse 4]
But the day will come
Jenny Wren will sing
When this broken world
Mends its foolish ways
[Chorus]
Then we'll spend our days
Catching up on life
All because of you
Jenny Wren
You saw who we are
Jenny Wren
